Carbon capture and climate amelioration by trees is now critical as the world faces the uncertainties of climate change, while the value of green space is increasingly acknowledged as an important factor in mental and physical well-being.
Money received from legacies gives us the confidence to plan for the future.
Legacies have enabled us to:
Plant, protect and care for over 3,000 trees and shrubs between 2017 and 2023.
Install hard paths to make the place more accessible.
Build a new workshop so we can manage the site, repair the vehicles and equipment we use and provide suitable facilities for staff and volunteers.
Develop a Tree Health Centre, the first in the country.
